QI Software is finally returning with some regular developer blog posts to help us track the development of Dead Matter! With that comes the return of my audio summaries, for those that would rather listen than read. I'm just wondering when the game is gonna play like what they showed off over 6 months ago. The launch was rough to say the least and game itself was definitely underwhelming. The genre feels cursed at this point. For now I'll just be keeping an eye on updates to see where it end up.

Community made some mistakes, devs did them as well, but I'm still hyped for this game, when I will get new PC I will surely buy the game

So…. an old video and nothing new….. im sorry but graphics look terrible. Dayz graphics a lot better and that game is still terrible.
Looks like Deadside but with worse graphics…Is this a new scum, that gets over hyped and we all pay money for, and then stop playing after a week ?….. could very well be. Looks like it so far. Fingers crossed they up that graphics multiple times and they make sure there´s a LOT of content from day one.
I felt so mislead comparing the early footage with the actual early gameplay shown… my hype sunk. I’ll keep a shy look at how the game evolves, but I went from 100% sure I’d buy it to mostly not. It seems way too ambitious and empty. Sad. I hope that with development time things change

It's gonna be a couple of years before I come back to this game in all honesty. Underwhelming to say the least, especially considering what they showed off prior to the closed alpha release.

Happy to see that the Alpha that everyone wanted to be a part of is progressing. Its amazing that in todays day and age we can be a part of developing a game. not just consuming it!

Game has potential, but the launch killed it. Servers are dead now. I hope it bounces back one day. I hope.
I must admit that I stopped playing Dead Matter. But I never have forgotten about this jewel :)
It's an ambitious game with a lot to develop, hence forth time is all you have. This stuff takes time especially with their goal in mind. I'm still hyped for this either way. Just think, last year there was just one developer, now he has a team. Just give it time.
I wish the Devs luck, but I have to wait and come back and see how the game has come along
